Coming Soon:

Welcome to The Jam Factory

The Jam Factory is an arts centre, restaurant and bar situated in the west end of Oxford. Designed to encourage the participation and appreciation of the visual arts on all levels, The Jam Factory provides a relaxed and welcoming venue to meet, eat and enjoy any of the exhibitions, classes or other art events on offer.

We offer a high quality take-away service. Sandwiches, soups, salads, hot and cold drinks are all available from 12-5 for those people on the go! Look out for the launch of our online pre-order and sandwich delivery service in the new year.

We are fully accessible to wheelchair users.

The Jam Factory offers free Wi-Fi.
Next time you come down for a coffee or lunch, why not bring your laptop with you? Our coffee's so good you won't want to go back to the office.

At the heart of The Jam Factory is a relaxed Bar and Cafe.
"The best coffee in Oxford". It's a brave statement but we welcome anyone to challenge us. Good coffee is very important and so often badly served. We have found a close contender in Green's on St. Giles but even Yan's incredible coffee doesn't quite match out own.

Dine among the artworks hanging on the walls in the restaurant or walk through to the large art gallery. Many of the works are for sale, so if you see something you like, just ask one of our friendly staff for more information. You are welcome to visit our gallery during opening hours whether you are dining or not.

Sit back and relax with a pre-dinner drink or an afternoon coffee in our cofortable lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available at The Jam Factory, so why not bring your laptop along next time you go for coffee?

We're always exhibiting work in The Jam Factory but we also have a huge amount of original and reproduction work in stock. If you're looking for something unique why not talk to one of our staff who will be more than happy to help you. Hopefully you'll be able to purchase from this site very soon too... Every two months we hold auctions of local artist's work where it is possible to pick up some real bargains. Take a look at our upcoming events to find out when the next auction is going to happen.

We love good food and we're certain that you'll love ours. The concept is simple - excellent, no nonsense food at sensible prices.
We pride ourselves on sourcing the very best ingredients. We have a superb relationship with our butcher, Aubrey Allen, who sends us quality assured and fully traceable meats. Our seafood comes straight from day boats and is fished in a sustainable manner.

Here at The Jam Factory we offer a wide range of arts related courses and classes from Life Drawing to Digitial Photography.
Click to see our Arts Classes page within the Gallery section for future workshops.

The Jam Factory is located in the historical former premises of Frank Cooper's Marmalade Factory. Click to learn more about the building or look-up our location using the Location link above.
